Create and manage your RMA with Asset Management

Concept

RMA or "Return Merchandise authorization" is a part of the process of returning products to the manufacturer. When products are faulty, broken or in end of life, the manufacturer send an authorization to the customer to return the goods to receive a refund, a replacement, repair the product or recycle it.

Managing RMAs is often painful for the customers, because they to keep track of the products sent, to wait to reach the minimum of quantity to send products, to fill-in forms to return the goods etc...

With our new RMA module, we completely digitalized this process to allow the customer to create and manage RMA directly from Asset Management.


How-to

First, you need to return your labels with VUSION Link Returns or Store check mini-app.

  1. Open Returns or Store Check mini-app,

  2. Select the reason why you need to return the labels,

  3. Select if you want to send this labels to RMA or not,

  4. Scan the returned label.

Once your label is added to the next RMA batch, it increases a counter on the RMA dashboard of Asset Management :

  1. On your store dashboard, go on the “returns” tab and click on the “RMA” section,

  2. See the counter of the labels added in the next RMA batch

You can visualise the number of scanned labels per label size by clicking on the counter.

To be allowed to create a RMA to send the labels of the counter, you need to reach SES-Imagotag MOQ. If the MOQ is not reached, it is not possible to create a RMA.

Once the MOQ is reached, the button “create RMA” turns blue and you can create your RMA case :

  1. On your store dashboard, go on the “returns” tab and click on the “RMA” section.

  2. Click on “create RMA”,

  3. In the pop up, you need to decide :

    1. If you want to benefit from the sorting service offered by SES-imagotag (a quotation will be sent to you). If you chose this service, it means you can send all your labels at once in the same box without sorting them yourself. If you don’t chose this option, you have to send us the labels sorted by size,

    2. If you want to receive a quotation for repair for labels that are out of warranty,

    3. If you agree to transfer the full ownership of the broken labels to SES-imagotag to proceed to the refurbishment or the recycling of those labels.

Finally, in the RMA section of Asset Management you can visualize the information of your previous RMA through 3 dashboards :

  1. On your store dashboard, go on the “returns” tab and click on the “RMA” section, you can see 3 dashboards :

    1. The number of labels per label type in the new and on-going RMA cases,

    2. The percentage of new, on-going and closed RMA cases,

    3. A table with all the new, on-going and closed RMA cases, their ID, their status, their start and end date, the number of labels. You can also export in an excel file all the labels of the RMA case and view the RMA ticket.
