Cloudpoints reboot via provisioning

Sep 20, 2022

VMG-154 - September 2022 - VUSION Manager

Concept

The goal is to be able to reboot an access point directly from VManager interface.

How-to

First connect to your VUSION Manager account. Click here to know more: How to use SSO.

  1. On your store dashboard, go on the “infrastructure” tab to display the list of access points.

  2. Click on the reboot button to reboot the access point.

Please note that this can be done only on the Cloudpoints, not on the 3rd parties access points.

Please also note that only admin and support users have the possibility to reboot the AP from VManager.

When do you need to reboot your AP?

It can be necessary to reboot your access point when it is offline, especially if all the other access points around the faulty one are online. Which means it is not a network issue but the issue comes from the access point firmware.

If you reboot your access point once, and it is still offline, you can open a ticket to your support team. It is not necessary to reboot it several times.
