How to use SSO

Key principles

The connection to an application for a user depends on different aspects:

  • The authentication of this user: which is how the user will be identified within the app

  • The authorisation of the users on the app

In this document, we will focus on the authentication only.

What is SSO authentication with VUSION Cloud ?

With SSO, you can authenticate once and get access to all VUSION Cloud applications.

SSO provides a better user experience, allowing you to stay connected and engaged using the same authentication while moving smoothly from one application to another.

Key benefits of SSO:

  • Use a single login and password to access all VUSION Cloud applications

  • If you are using Microsoft Live or Microsoft Azure AD, you can use your usual enterprise credentials. If not, you can create a VUSION Cloud account and benefit from the SSO authentication as well.

How to use SSO ?

VUSION Cloud can be accessed with:

  • Microsoft Azure AD

  • Microsoft Live

  • Dedicated account on VUSION AD

Using Microsoft Azure AD

Step 1: Connect to VUSION Manager

Step 2: Click on “Microsoft Business”

Step 3: If you are not already logged on your Microsoft account, you need to log in

Step 4: If this is your first connection to VUSION Manager, your permission will be needed to log in. Click on “Accept”.

You can now have access to the application and you will be automatically redirected to the Landing Page.

If your application uses permissions that require administrative consent, you will receive a notification. Please contact your admin.

Using Microsoft Live

Step 1: Connect to VUSION Manager

Step 2: Click on “Personnal Account”

Step 3: Click on “Sign in with your social account”

 

Step 4: You now need to authorize the access for the application. Please, click on “Yes”.

Step 5: Enter your Name, your email address and your Family name to configure your account.

You can now have access to the application and you will be automatically redirected to the Landing Page.

Using VUSION AD

Step 1: Connect to VUSION Manager

Step 2: Click on “Personnal Account”

Step 3: Click on “Sign up now”

Step 4: Enter a valide email address and click on “send verification code. Copy-Paste the code received by email and click on

 

Step 5: Enter and confirm your new password and add a Display Name. Then click on “Create”.

Step 6: Come back to the authentication page, click on “Personnal Account” and enter your email address and new password. Then click on “Sign In”.

You can now have access to the application and you will be automatically redirected to the Landing Page.
