Concept

The first step of a store installation project is when assets are delivered by SES-Imagotag to the customer’s warehouse. And we know that managing many IoT devices can be a resource-intensive task and may lead to issues such as shadow stock or misplaced devices.

To address these specific challenges, we created this new warehouse module to allow customers to manage their assets shipment and inventory.

How-to

Labels deliveries

First, you have access to all your labels deliveries, directly on Asset Management :

Only the orders with the status “DELIVERED” are available on Asset Management, the orders that are still in transit or not shipped yet doesn’t appear in Asset Management.

Stock status

You can easily spot here the number of labels in your stock and the number of labels that have been in your stock for more than 6 months.

The total number of labels in stock is the total number of labels delivered minus the number of assets already deployed in the retail chain’s stores.

We only retrieve the number of deployed labels once a day, this is why we display the last stock out update below the total number of assets in stock.

Inventory management

In the warehouse dashboard of Asset Management, you have access to different graphs to help you manage your inventory and optimize your ROI.

  1. The quantity of labels in your warehouse per type of labels

  2. The stock quantity by aging group, which corresponds to the number of labels that are in the stock for under 1 month, under 2 months, under 6 months or over 6 months

  3. The inventory turn, which is the average number of month your labels spends in your inventory before being deployed in the stores

  1. The stock balance, which is the evolution of the quantity of labels in stock, of the stock-in and the stock-out.
