Resolved Issues
Number | Name | Description |
AP-770 | Vulnerability for updated APs | After the update from version 2.5.0 to 2.6.0, it was possible to get root access without entering password. This has been corrected for 2.6.1 |
AP-928 | Remote host check causing unnecessary logs on on-premise | This has been removed, option “Provisioning” is disabled in order not to create too many log entries and confuse customers. |
AP-1032 | HF protocol windows size setting (7/14) not bound to regional setting | Instead of configuring the HF protocol window size (7 or 14) directly via the Web GUI, Service Mode, or Provisioning, this setting is now determined by the selected region for consistency. This change addresses issues encountered in previous versions. |
AP-1078 | Jumping channel issue | In very rare cases the Cloudpoint used ESL channel 0 for communication to ESLs instead of the configured ESL channel (i.e. option “managed” selected for ESL channel). This is now corrected. |
AP-1077 | Logging changes | Stay with log4cxx library but switching off remote appender and changing formatting to PLOG style (CSV type). |

Latest releases
Release | Date |
2.6.0 | July 2024 |
2.5.0 | August 2023 |
New Features
Number | Category | Name | Description |
AP-1059 | Serviceability | Improved SW-Update mechanism | Prior software update mechanism has shown some issues in cases when there is a big network latency during update. The software update mechanism has been improved to handle all kinds of network loss, interruption or latency. The software update is possible from version 2.5.0 to version 2.6.1 and from version 2.6.0 to version 2.6.1. |
AP-1021 | UI | Name change | Display of device in VusionManager has been corrected according to VusionGroup naming guidelines to “SESImagotag_VGate_E1-G1” |

AP-1053 | Serviceability | Logging | For analyzing issues during a (manual or automatic) reboot, new “crash-logs” are introduced. Those will help to analyze why devices did not reboot correctly and do not come online after a reboot. This increases troubleshooting options. |
AP-838 | UI | Additional VGate information displayed on VusionManager | Newly introduced Access Point parameters on VusionManager displaying the serial number and the MAC address will help to correctly identify and locate the device physically in the shop. |
Resolved Issues

AP-1032 | HF protocol windows size setting (7/14) not bound to regional setting | Instead of setting the window size of the HF protocol (can be either 7 or 14) directly through Web-GUI, Servicemode or Provisioning this is replaced by setting the region setting (e.g. EMEA or US) to be consistent. This had caused issues in prior versions. |
